Community Heroes Come Together at Cotswolds Designer Outlet
Free family entertainment, emergency services, community groups and hands-on activities took over Cotswolds Designer Outlet on Sunday when the outlet hosted a special Community & Emergency Services Day.
Visitors joined for a packed day celebrating the people, organisations and services that help make the local area such a special place to visit and call home.
From meeting emergency service personnel and discovering the vital services available locally, to getting involved with community groups, enjoying live entertainment and keeping the little ones busy with free activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The event welcomed representatives from Tewkesbury Fire Service, Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, SARA, RNLI, Tewkesbury Army Cadet Force, Tewkesbury Sea Cadets and RLSS, as well as a host of local organisations and community groups.
There were plenty of opportunities to get involved in a host of free activities too, with highlights including a free silent disco, climbing wall and face painting throughout the day.
Sporting fans could also test their rugby passing skills with Tewkesbury RFC, while local artist, Sam Morris, created a live painting throughout the day with guests invited to contribute to the artwork.

Our Community & Emergency Services Day was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate that, bringing together local heroes, community groups and families for a fun-filled day.”
