CONNECTIVITY
SUPERB ROAD AND RAIL LINKS
In this section we explore the infrastructure of the catchment and the ease with which visitors can travel to the outlet.
Located between Bristol and Birmingham, the outlet is located a quarter of a mile from junction 9 of the M5 motorway where 35.2m vehicles pass annually.
The M5 links the Midlands to the South West region of the UK and penetrates to the east and west catchments via the M50, M4, M42 and M40.
The A46 is a strategic road link serving trade and commuters between the East and West Midlands, connecting the M42 and Warwickshire. 9.1 million cars currently pass the outlet on this road each year.
The A46 corridor stretches for 155 miles from Lincolnshire to Gloucestershire and is now subject to a 20 year improvement plan called Midlands Connect that will see 600,000 new residents and 250,000 new homes within the corridor by 2041.
Collectively 79.9million drivers and passengers will pass the centre each year.

BUS AND CYCLE ROUTES
Bus routes operate throughout the region and there are plans to run a shuttle bus between the outlet, train station and Tewkesbury town centre at weekends and bank holidays.
To improve connectivity and promote walking and cycling in the local area, there are now several cycleways and routes which enable residents and workers to travel to the outlet using pedal power.
