DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to announce that Scrubditch Care Farm will be joining us throughout February half term with their wonderful goats\, Griff and Gruff and a few of their lambs to educate visitors around the incredible therapy work they offer to vulnerable adults at their Cirencester base. Guests can talk to the Scrubditch team all about the animals and how they help those in need whilst enjoying opportunities to groom and interact with the animals in a safe and controlled environment. \nFrom the farm: \nAt Scrubditch Care Farm\, our Outreach Programme extends our services beyond the farm\, bringing the unique experience of interacting with animals to individuals who may face barriers to visiting us. \nKey Features: \n\nMobile Workshops: Our team takes animals to various locations\, enabling us to reach those who cannot visit the farm.\nHands-On Experiences: Participants can feed\, groom\, and interact with animals\, promoting emotional well-being and a connection with nature.\nInclusivity: The programme ensures people from diverse backgrounds\, including those with physical disabilities\, can benefit from animal-assisted activities.\n\nDates: \n\nMonday 16th February\, 10am-2pm\nTuesday 17th February\, 10am-2pm\nWednesday 18th February\, 10am-2pm\nFriday 20th February\, 10am-2pm\n\nFind out more about Scrubditch Care Farm\, including ways you can support the charity over on their website here. \nPlease note – if at any point the animals become distressed\, Scrubditch Care Farm reserve the right to pause or end the sessions at any time with no guarantee that they’ll return on the same day.
