Job Title: Marketing and Engagement Manager
Job Role: The successful promotion of Cotswolds Designer Outlet, improving client value and ensuring guest and brand partner satisfaction. Engagement is included in this role to ensure effort is not simply spiked around launch and above the line spend. This role is responsible for building long-lasting relationships with guests, affiliates and stakeholders by offering interactive and personalized experiences.
Job Responsibilities – Key Performance Criteria
· Working closely with brand partners to maximise their turnover.
· Managing a constant stream of multi-channel content to drive followings and engagement.
· Drive footfall and spend through partnerships, affiliations, tourism and VIP database
· Working with MultiRealm HQ Marketing team to deliver key business plan targets
· Managing the team of third party suppliers, freelancers and on site teams to deliver events, promotions and activations all within agreed budgets.
Key Performance Areas
· Working closely with the Centre Manager, the Marketing and Engagement Manager is responsible for implementing the agreed marketing plan for the scheme with regular performance monitoring and support from the wider MultiRealm business.
· Responsible for day to day delivery of all marketing activity designed to maximise retailers’ trading performances, footfall and brand awareness amongst the target customer profiles within the catchment area.
Responsibilities
· Launch – deliver the programme of phased launch activity to successfully propel the Centre into the consciousness of the target audience, working to key deadlines, liaising with brand partner head office marketing contacts and ensuring media and promotions plan is appropriate and localised events professionally delivered.
· PR and Comms- Oversee the messaging to generate consumer coverage, build relationships with media contacts locally, regionally and generally be the voicebox of the centre.
· Advertising – manage the creative agency so that they can create relevant and appropriately positioned content for all advertising and media bookings. Ensure all content is completed to meet deadlines and provide tenant feedback on all campaigns.
· Promotions – responsible for delivering promotions to focus marketing effort on key trading periods and stock categories, celebrating key dates in the retail calendar and
celebrating national awareness days where appropriate. At all times be motivated to leverage increased spend, engagement and awareness.
· Media – manage and appraise media bookings and communicate all opportunities that are presented direct to the Centre. Assist in the refinement of the media strategy of the Centre to deliver a more efficient and effective media plan.
· Research – commission regular research to report on shopper behaviour, drive times, duration to be able to identify key shopper groups and sources of footfall and income
· Digital – ensure the Centre consumer website and app is kept up to date with relevant content and offers. Communicate directly with retailers to ensure social media feeds are kept relevant and topical.
· On Site Communications – responsible for all signage and POS onsite to ensure shoppers are appropriately informed of opening hours, changes to trading or car park availability etc. Keeping all retailers informed of marketing activity including media plans, PR activity and reporting on performance of promotions and events.
· International and Tourism – work closely with inbound tourism partners to ensure the outlet has a significant share of voice amongst foreign nationals visiting The Cotswolds. Refine the strategy to capitalise on tourists and day trippers visiting Tewkesbury and Cheltenham for other events by working closely with other stakeholders and accommodating influxes of visitors for commercial gain.
· Leasing Support – provide leasing team with insights on demographic variances and trading patterns that might be specific to the trading of this Centre. Identify local potential that may not be currently provided for and assist on retailer visits to the Centre where required.
· Brand Ambassador – wherever required, represent the outlet brand as positively as possible during VIP visits, tenant site inspections and presentations to interested stakeholders. Ensure that the Centre brand presence is well maintained onsite and elsewhere through policing of logo usage in third party partnerships.
